I am trying to set up a windows 7 custom install image on Windows Deployment Services.  No I am not sure if I did this right I made a VM image with all the programs I need installed I syspreped it and added the VHDX and the boot image to WDS.  I can boot a client from the network but one I enter the credentials it displays no deploy-able images.  If I take the install.wim right off a Win 7 ISO it shows an image and installs it but it is stock any ideas?

Once customized and sysprepped, you must capture the image so it is a WIM file instead of a VHDX. WDS includes a PXE bootable image that automates the capture process.

Can you elaborate on how to get a capture image from the VM I created?

There are several methods. Technet has thorough documentation. Everything you need.

DISM:

WDS capture images:

I recommend reading about windows deployments on technet, as the options are numerous. MDT may be a netter option for you than WDS if you are just beginning.
