Chart shows items inbetween dates of dataset

Please check the attached file...  how come chart has 7 dates in it and the dataset only has 5?
How do I turn off the adding of dates inbetween dates?

Hi,

Dbl-click the axis the select Axis Type Text Axis, you may have to resort your data by the date.
