Access denied to SourceSafe data files from a particular computer.

Hello,

We have Visual SourceSafe V.6 installed on Windows 2000 machine. We have used it for years by now.  Recently we added a new Windows 7 computer to our network and installed SourceSafe 2005 client on it. When registered SourceSafe users try to access projects in SourceSafe from this new computer, they get an error message saying they don't have access rights to SourceSafe files. The same users can open SourceSafe projects from any other computer on the network without any problem. It looks like this computer is somehow different.
What can it be?
