Server 2012 essentials locks up

server 2012 essentials - Locks up when a user creates a folder on the server then tries to copie photos to that folder (not large photos)... The whole server locks up, high utilization and everyone is locked out for 3 to 5 minutes... Have plenty on memory on server (8GB)

High utilization where  -- disk? CPU ?  Resource Monitor is your friend
