I am using the SlideshowCK Slider in my Joomla website. When I click on the image it reloads the entire page and that happens only in IE, but in Google chrome it doesnot, which is good. How can I make the slider not reload the entire webpage when clicked on the images. Is it the Jquery libraries have to be changed, if so what version to use

My website is http://cleaningcanada.ca/index.php/en/vertical

It's reloading in all browsers.
I don't know what you are expecting it to do...? It is a link and that's what a link does.

When you click on the main picture of the slider in Chrome, the bottom text info in the page changes. And the picture stays the same. This is what we want.
but in IE - when we click on the main picture of the slider, the bottom text info changes but the picture reloads entirely and goes back to the first picture.

We dont want the picture changing everytime we click the photo. Chrome does it proper. IE does not. Its ajax script.

Which slider are we talking about?
Clicking the big slider reloads the page in all browsers
The smaller slider doesn't do anything bar highlight the image you have just clicked.

The slider on this page http://www.cleaningcanada.ca/index.php/en/vertical Click on the first picture and then it brings up some info about it, when you click on the third main picture it doesnot reload the etire page in google chrome but just brings the info about it. But in IE it reloads all the time.

Ok it's loading again.
When I click the smaller slideshow nothing happens except the larger slideshow switches to the image.
If I click the larger image the page reloads.

Are you using Google Chrome? When you click on the big picture first time it loads, but from the second time select any other pictures lets says 5th picture and when it brings the big picture click on that it will just brings up the info.

Do you have an unobfuscated and unminified version of camera.js
