Exchange 2010 / Outlook 2010 Calendar Reminders - any Group Policies to configure them ?

Greetings. Is there a Group Policy or Exchange setting to automatically dismiss clients' old calendar reminders ?

I have many users who have ignored 800, 900 or more reminders in Outlook.  This cannot be a good thing.

Thanks.

Hey,

There is a way to run a command on a users PC to clear the reminders.

You could possibly add it to a Logon script for those users that are having this issue.

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Outlook.exe" /Cleanreminders

The /cleanreminders switch regenerates reminders, doesn't dismiss them.  Since the users know they have 800 reminders in the background, it's not really an "issue" for them - more so for the system administrator.  But that was part of my question. I've seen Outlook 2007 hang when there are hundreds of reminders that haven't been dismissed.  Not sure about Outlook 2010.

I'm aware of the /cleanreminders switch, but my question was regarding Group Policy. I haven't found an answer and haven't had a relevant solution offered, so I'm closing this question.
