Hi

Does anyone know how Powerline adapters operate over a tree-phase electric circuit ?

Can the adapters still communicate even if they are on different phases ?
Or do they completely unaware of each other ?

thanks

As far as I understand it, they cannot communicate with each other when on different phases, there's nice little graphic to be found here, that basically answers your question, you can see that they use a switch to interconnect the different phases.

Q: Can TP-LINK powerline adapters work in different phases of three-phase circuit?
A: Yes, but its rate will be affected when crossing the phases.

That is exactly the situation I was faced with - they could see each other, but bandwidth was absolutely useless

Thanks
