Delphi 6 cannot debug into Classes.pas

I have modified TStrings.SetdelimitedText to ignore spaces as delimiters (to emulate StrictDelimiter := True in later versions of Delphi).  This has worked for years.

Now suddenly this has stopped working correctly. When I try to debug into the (modified) Classes.pas file in C:\Program Files\Borland\Delphi6\Source\Rtl\Common, Delphi 6 now does not show any breakpoint locations in the Classes.pas file and any breakpoints are shown as green (disabled).

I have deleted all classes.dcu and there seems to be no new classes.dcu created on rebuild???

Any ideas what is going on and how can I re-enable this and ensure that the correct modified code is being used.

Found out the problem. Build with runtime packages had somehow been set, so the dcu was not being used or created.  Turned it off and everythings works OK.
