I hate getting this error because I never know how to debug it. For some reason, this error just happened this morning in our shipping department. This version of the software has been on the machine for quite some time now and all of a sudden it's getting this error on a function that is performed daily. See attached image.

You have to click on Details to find out what's really happening. In general, it indicates that an error has happened in a section of your application that doesn't have error trapping (no Try...Catch block used). But without the details, there's no way to say why it happened or where. Clicking on Details will display a more specific error message, and also the method in which the error happened and the stack trace showing how you got to that method.
