Out of office message for Terminated Employees

Hi,
I have a client with a bit of turnover.  I would like to setup a group called "Terminated" (easy enough) and assign all terminated people to that group.  I would then like to be able to reply to any incoming e-mail with a standard %%Displayname%% is no longer with .....".  I have setup a user with Send/As and Manage permissions on the terminated folks so their e-mails appear in her Outlook.  The two thoughts were (1) Outlook Out Of Office but the mail is being redirected and will not hit this user's e-mail and (2) it would also mean having a workstation on for each terminated user logged in and that would mean a lot more workstations.  I suggested deleting the user and having the bounce back announce the user was no longer on valid but that would also mean the mail would not be captured.

Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Thanks
Rich

Thank you, Yes this will work but it means we are dependent on having someone not turning off the Out of Office message and it also means setting up one for each terminated user.  I was hoping for a transport hub based solution where the OOO message would be generated based upon the "Terminated" group.  I also have the user who is reading the mail as having send as and manager permissions on the terminated accounts so mail appears as an additional folder in her outlook.  If I can't find anything better (eye of the beholder) then this will become the accepted solution.  Thank you
Thank you
