Windows Deployment 2012

I am having issues up loading an image to Windows 2012 WDS server.

The error I keep getting is can not find the network name.  The really confusing part is the wizard comes up, but when you click the connect button the error comes into play but it takes a few seconds to come up.

This server is a Domain controller but not running any services this is just a backup DC.

I did get it to work once, but the drive I was using ran out of space so the first image was an error.   Now when I try to start it up I get, "the network name Cannot be found."

The Main DC is running on VMware sphere unlicensed version free version in a VM.

When it does error out, I can ping the WDS server it is pointed to from the client workstation by name and number.  I have never had this trouble in 2008R2.

I really could use some extra help!

I figured it out.

In 2008 R2 when you get to the capture wizzard it will ask for a local Drive and then the server to connect to. In 2008R2, you could do \\servername, but it looks like things changed in 2012 now it just takes servername no \\.  If you provide the \\servername in 2012 it will give you "cannot find the network name." Error.

Today, I successfully uploaded an image to the 2012WDS.
