Symantec backup exec 2010 Job rate decreased by 3 times
Dear Experts,
I have Symantec Backup exec 2010 version 13.0 installed as a media server. There are around 10 server's backup running through this server by deploying backup exec agent on all the servers. The backup for all the job is running properly with the same rate as before. But with this single server the job rate is decreased suddenly. The jobs runs very fine for 2 or 3 days but after this, at some alternate day again it will reduce the job rate. There is no change in network also. I have also disabled the antivirus on the problematic server. The backup is going to tape drive. Please advice.

Regards,
Check if anything if anything is running during this time. If you have another job for instance going to the same media server that may be overlapping.

Hi,
There is no extra process running during the backup time.
There is no extra process running during the backup time.
When the jobs completes is there a particular volume or agent based backup that's slow like exchange, sql, etc..
