Outlook anywhere was not work in my mac machine, but after enabling the basic authentication of EWS in IIS (exchange cas server) it started working. Is there any security risk in enabling basic authentication of the EWS in IIS ?
Your suggestion will be appreciable.

Thanks

Hi,

I would like to know before changing authentication of type, what error message you are getting while configuring outlook on MAC?

Have you configured outlook using following URL:

Hi Arjun,

You suggested to enable basic authentication, while enabling basic authentication the username and password will send in clear text and it is security risk. So please provide some other solution without enabling basic authentication.

Thanks and Regards
