Under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\COMPONE<wbr />NTS registry key, export and delete &quot;PendingXmlIdentifier&quot; registry entry from the details pane.<br />

Rename c:\windows\winsxs\Pending.<wbr />xml file to pending.back and reboot machine. (you will have to take ownership of this file to rename it)<br />

Try again. If not work you can undo all changes.<br />
