xerox 3550 - fax preview blank

i have a fax mfp that is giving me issues.
when i try to fax to this printer and hit preview it always shows 0 pages and it is blank.
I have tried uninstalling the driver, reinstalling the driver. checked the ip address.
not sure what to do at this point

resolved must use post script driver
