adobe premiere cc: Do I need to "re-render" in to out when applying audio filter

Hi,

I'm new to Adobe Premier and Audition. I just rendered by short clip via Sequence->Render In to Out. I forgot to apply a Dynamic effect (Noise Gate). I'm wondering if I need to delete the render via Sequence->Delete Render Files In to Out and then select Sequence->Render In to Out again.

Thank you!

If you want to use the result, yes, you have to re-render.

If you have lots of video effects and don't want to render them again, just import your last render to the sequence, delete the audio from it and use the new audio when re-rendering.

Hi Dan,

Ok, thanks. I noticed that there is a Sequence->Render Effects In to Out
and a Sequence->Render In to Out

What's the difference? I've been only selecting Sequence->Render In to Out after I've applied my filters and effects. Is this correct?

AFAIK, Render Effects In to Out will only render the "red" parts of the sequence, the parts where effects were applied. Render In to Out will render everything.
