VMware vSphere 5.5 vCenter Update Manager

I have purcahse the VMware vSphere 5 Essential Kits. I have download the vSphere to install a VM but I can find the Update Manager. Which product should I download ?

As I have only 3 VM hosts, how can I install the latest packs in case I decide to install it manually ?

Download  vCenter iso and that will have vCenter, Update Manager, Single Sign On, etc..

Install vCenter, SSO, and Infrastructure service  (if on a windows machine) and then install update manager

I have a vCenter appliance(OVF template) without go through the vCenter installatoin. If I download the vCenter iso, does it work ?

Is there any option to patch the VM without the vCenter Update Manager ?

Tks
You will need to install on a windows machine and register the plug-in with vCenter.

Here's a KB on what's bundled with appliance and what's not
