Dear All,

I need to secure one of our FTP sites working in IIS 6 in windows 2003 by configuring SSL Certificate.

is that possible or IIS 6 does not support working using SFTP or SSL ?

also if we can do it, I wish I can get the steps.

Regards,

IIS 6 does not support FTP over SSL.  That wasn't introduced until IIS 7.  You'll need to look at a third party FTP server solution or upgrade to Server 2008 or higher.

Do you have another server that you can switch the site hosting over to?

I just double checked to make sure and FileZilla Server does support FTP over SSL.  It is free, open source, widely used and can be installed on your current server.

Is this an option you can consider?
