Token Based authentication for ISS

My goal is to setup a two factor authentication for an IIS server.

I would like to give my end users a certificate they would install on there personal computer. This certificate would allow them to connect to my web server.

First factor: user must have per-installed certificate to access web server

Second factor: user will input their username and password.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to implement this.

Hi,

I know RSA Two Factor Authentication, RSA has Agent for IIS which give you facility to protect your webportal hosted on IIS.

Step1: Protect your web portal using SSL certificate

Step 2: Use RSA Two Factor authentication for more better security for more information refer below url:

http://india.emc.com/security/rsa-securid/rsa-authentication-agents/iis-7-1.htm

I hope this will help.

Arjun

Im trying not to make any additional steps for my end users. I still think IIS Client Cert Auth is the way to go.
