Hello,

Is there a way using this version of Quick Books(QB) to update / insert information into a table from an external source?

Specifically, every night we download a csv file from our web server that contains information about new customers created on the web; we want to update that info in QB by inserting new customer records. The previous developer had a MS Access interface that somehow has gotten screwed up and doesn't work anymore.

Is there a more direct method to insert records?

Yes, there is. The product QODBC is the easiest way to do this. I believe you can find it at qodbc.com. You will need a Read/Write license, but the trial should allow you to test it first. There is a bit of a learning curve, but writing simple import scripts is quite easy.
