I have a small business client which requires the ability to have ISP failover for their users access to email on webmail and their portable devices.

I know how to do the MX record but how do I handle activesync and webmail ?

thanks

Not easily.
The only way I have done this in the past is to have a dynamic DNS account, which updates very quickly. Then CNAME the preferred host names to that dynamic DNS address. When the IP address changes, the dynamic DNS account also changes and then the DNS follows.

Otherwise you are looking at a load balancer in another location or some kind of third party service that can do the service awareness for you.
