SQL Update Problem

Hi try to update my Sql Server 2008 R2 Enterprise SP2 10.52.4302.0

Try to Update with

2926028 Cumulative update package 11 (CU11) for SQL Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 2

and i get this Error.

There are no SQL Server instances or shared features that can be updated on this computer


any idea thanks for help.

well, your version of 10.52 shows that it's a client only, so you cannot apply that patch to it.

for sure not that one you mentioned:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2926028
which is for the server editions, not for client packs

unless your SP2 10.52.4302.0 is a typo, and that you wanted to write SP2 10.50.4302.0

in which case it should apply, unless you installed only the client tools.
please double-check what you actually installed

Ok ist simple just check you get the right SP or Update Pack for the Version you get. Fix for me.
