Hi, I have a DELL Poweredge 2900 system with a RAID 1 configuration - the RAID controller is a PERC 6/i integrated one.<br />
The Open Manage software is reporting that the firmware, driver and storport version are all out of date. I have found the firmware update on the Dell website which seems to be just a click and run thing from within Windows rather than something you have to run from a boot device. I dont know about the driver and the storport update though, does anyone know where you get these from and also what order do the firmware, driver and storport updates need to be done in?<br />
Is there a significant risk to running these updates? The server seems to be operating fine as it is so I am wondering if it is worth doing these updates in any case?<br />

Update of PERC 6/i firmware
