The mail sent with lotusscript ,receipent can't see where the mail came from.

Hi,

As can be seen in the screenshot below, our end user does see the mail but who the mail came from he can't see, he uses outlook and the mail sent with lotusscript.

and i use the lines below to specify who sent it but somehow end user sees blank as can be seen from the screenshot.


      .Principal = "xxxx"
        .INETFROM="xxx"

Try this:
- send this person an ordinary mail, from your mailbox, and open the source of the mail
- send a mail (using your code), and open its source as well
- what are the differences, any fields missing?

I assume you send the mail using a Notes client and a Domino server? A Domino server should at least add the From property to the mail, unless you managed to bypass the document.Send method...

this question is invalid any more due to customers inability to test what you recommended and i can not get a response so i close this issue and thank you for your support anyways...
