Send auto email response to some recipients

Have an email address email@domain.com and an alias that forwards emails to email@domain.com. Let's say the alias is alias@otherdomain.com (alias is on another domain). I use outlook 2010 and both domains use office 365.

Whenever an email comes to me via alias@otherdomain.com I would like for the recipient to receive and auto reply email. How can I achieve this?

You can create a rule in Outlook.

1.  Make a group in Outlook of the people you want to have this auto reply sent to

2.  Go to Outlook and on the Home tab you are looking for the Rules button.  Click Manage Rules and Alerts.  It will bring up a new screen and from there you choose New Rule...

3.  Go through and create a new rule and then apply it to this group of people and test it

Let me know if you need further instruction, but this should help:  http://www.msoutlook.info/question/260

The senders are unknown (anyone) and cannot be specified. Thanks for your post though.
