Hello ,
What is the very good formula to find the first and last occurrence row for the word “Area”? Please see the attached. I am looking for a vba but a direct cell formula

For the first row:

=MATCH("Area",$E$1:$E$105,0)

and for the last row, the following as an array formula (entered with Ctrl+Shift+Enter)

=MAX(IF($E$1:$E$105="Area",ROW($E$1:$E$105),0))
