Ok so I am Remote Desktopping from a  Windows 8.1 client machine to a Windows 2012 R2 server - I can't save the Credential and every time I connect I get the certificate come up which is so annoying :-)

I gather I have to install the certificate somewhere but I am not sure where - I am looking for step by Step instructions or a link that works would be good.

thanks

Ian.

Open mstsc.exe, Click on Show options (drop down arrow)

Go to advanced tab --> If server authentication fails, --> change it to connect and don't warn me.

Then click on connect,

Refer below image for your reference.

RDP- Certificate

Refer below link to know more on RDP certificate, (you need to configure Remote desktop gateway server for this)
