when you decide to save the setup.exe, where is it normally placed for later use?

Or I should say, where is the default folder for the setup or msi file placed?

I'm not sure to understand you. The setup.exe and .msi files are located inside the \Debug or \Release (depending on the compilation set) folders of your setup project folder.

Hope that helps.
