Hi Folks,

I check the severs first thing in the morning and see that often times a server will get stuck in Shutdown Mode after trying to install windows updates or performing a scheduled Reboot.

Why does this happen?

The PC's do not have this problem why do the Servers?

Is the server stuck after reboot or only after updates.

If the server always hangs during shutdown, the problem is with the DNS.

it's usually after a scheduled reboot. Sometimes updates are also applied.
