I searched the site and found similar documentation but not close enough to match my situation.  So here goes another SharePoint and force SSL redirect issue.

I have a 3 tier deployement
AppServer
FrontEnd
DB

I created my first site https://intranet.domain.com
In IIS on my FrontEnd server I have multiple static IPs assigned so for this site I am using the following bindings
BindingsNow I want to have a redirect for traffic on http://intranet.domain.com to https://intranet.domain.com
I have also configured the AAM in SharePoint for the http traffic as well, see image below.
AAMap
This should be very easy from all the documentation I have read and posts I have seen but in my instance, I continue to get the default IIS7 welcome page when trying to access http://intranet.domain.com while https://intranet.domain.com works perfectly.

What am I missing?

Thank you in advance,
Tom

I must have made a type-o.  I went back and carefully followed the instructions once more and it works flawlessly.
