Hi\
   I have Linksys 4200 now I want to buy Linksys EA6700 , please clear my some doughts
1) will it help to provide a better signal strength as compared to Linksys 4200 ?
2) can I backup and restore settings of 4200 in Linksys EA6700 ?
3) what all benefits I can have with Linksys EA6700

please advice

1) Possibly.
It for sure will if you add it to your network in another room, connected LAN port to LAN port with the E4200 using cat5e cable. Disable the DHCP server on one of the routers, and change the LAN address of one of them to, say, 192.168.1.254 (as long as it's outside the scope of the active DHCP server).

3) the E4200 has 1 USB 2.0 port; the EA6700 has 1 USB 2.0 and 1 USB 3.0 port.
The E4200 supported only 802.11a/b/g/n, while the EA6700 supports those plus 802.11ac as well.

Hi
    I have purchased and connected this router , but the speed is not coming good , I have checked all possible measures .
if I reconnect old Linksys 4200 router , speed is good there are no issues , but after connecting EA6700 internet and wifi speed goes down
please advice

same it use to
elife cable is going to internet yellow port and from one of the 4 ports the cable is going to switch
