I am trying to run a scheduler for Crystal reports to generate and email reports to users automatically. I found that Crystal Desk does what I need but as soon as the reports are ready to be mailed, Outlook comes up with the attached messages   First error and the next one error 2We are using Exchange 2010 SP3 with SBS 2011 -
How do I permanently allow this program to run without having to answer prompts

It is not a good idea to do this. However if you don't care check this link:

BTW the reason to see this message is that the scheduler is using MAPI to send the e-mail. According to Ken Hamady's comparison CrystalDesk supports SMTP emails too. SMTP will not instantiate Outlook and there will be no message. Switching to SMTP will be a better solution.

I would like to use SMTP but when I configure it using either IP or name with proper credentials it does not seems to recognize the server.

This might be a bug in the program. Did you contact the developer ?

It is a bit of a fly by night outfit and I am evaluating using their free version, so support is scarce.
Anyway you are right SMTP should be the way to go.

Oh , I though you have a license for this one. You probably have your reasons to try this software, but did you try any other ?
