PSTs should be accessed locally and not on servers. Accessing them from servers is not supported by Microsoft.

What operating system are you running? Windows Vista, 7 or 8? What kind of script do you want? VB? PowerShell?

we are going from xp to windows 7, any script will do. we did use usmt but the xml i created dumpped all psts in my documents\outlook files  for all users (so we couldnt define whos is whos) the engineers have to swap the hard drive so have prefered a manual migration as they have to physically visit the machine.

I was thinking something that will search quickly and rename to the path so they know which pst is for each user.
