MCS vs MPIO

I have a VNXe 3150 connected to a Windows Server 2012 R2 box. I'm trying to figure out if MPIO or MCS is a better solution.

I have read this article, which is great.

But, when I added multiple MCS connections a 3GB file copies at 500MBps. If I use MPIO it copies at 150MBps.

So, which one is better and why?

So I assume MPIO wasn't setup correctly? What kind of speeds are you getting now?

I ended up using MCS as that's all EMC has properly documented for VNXe 3150 products. MPIO always points towards a product called PowerPath which I don't want to pay for.  I would love to find more info but cannot.

Thanks.
