I'm trying to figure out what alternative headsets, preferably in-the-ear or over-the-ear, can be used with the Interactive Intelligence SIP-100 device.
I believe it just supports RJ-9.

Are there any such headsets?

We don't want the over-the-head one which looks like this:

I'm not getting any answer or knowledge from the manufacturer or the vendor

Plantronics makes an adapter to use their headsets with the SIP-100.

Awesome. So I guess it's just a really limited market when it comes to these connections?
I mean, RJ-9?
I know these SIP-100's don't have USB so that rules out millions of headsets.

The RJ-9 headset is more common on desk phones - you might also consider an adapter like this one:  http://www.headsetbuddy.com/pc-headset-to-rj9-rj10-rj22-headset-plug-adapter/?gclid=CJ-QzYaNnb0CFYsWMgodfD4AlA

This lets you use any headset that has two 3.5mm plugs
