Corrupt silverlight.exe from eval copy of 2012 r2 System center

Hi Guys

Trying to install config manager via pdt script by rob willis

Getting this error *attached*…looks like corrupt media

 
The Silverlight.exe has been download manually and placed in the correct directory and fails with this error.

Also using two different types of evaluation media oct13 version and  Feb14 version. Still the same.

Could you please see if you can get me this Silverlight.exe file. After reading about this, people are having the same issue with this file and other files in the same directory.

I would recommend downloading the media again.

Hi

I have only one place to download the eval from and ive done that twice.

Any other suggestions to get this much needed media?

Can you check any signature provided or published to confirm correct download eg. MD5 or SHA.

I would also email software publisher.

its from microsoft eval copy on the ms site. Pretty sure its legit, just bad media. its not the first time this has happened with eval software.

ok got it, there is a setup.dl.exe file that downloads all these stuffed up files and it seems to be working.

location- Systemcentredeployment\SystemCenter2012R2\Configurationmanager\smssetup\bin\x64
