slow internet connection

Please add zones to this question.

I am going to a remote area that has on/off (cell phone/internet) coverage.

 rdp to my windows server 2008  would speed up my internet connection.

What are other suggestions.

i use this program over shared low ultra bandwidth connection. its RDP but you can set a lower colour bit screen which speeds up the connection lots

I do not know how mRemoteNG works

Do I install in home desktop computer and then connect using a laptop

hi it's just like an RDP client but with a lot more configuration options. install it on the pc or laptop you want to connect with
