Export Thunderbird Mail into Outlook

Hello,

I need a piece of software (free if there is one) that can successfully export a clients thunderbird profile into Outlook.

I know there is alot of software out there.  I am looking for answers from people who have successfully used the software themselves if possible.

What your existing mail setup is?
Are you using POP3 or you have IMAP available.

Alternatively, you can get mercury mail from pmail.com
You would transfer/copy all the mail from thunderbird onto the mercury mail via IMAP, you would then access and retrieve those messages via IMAP to outlook.

What issue with direct export from thunderbird to outlook are you having?

Hi Arnold, thank you for your comments.

The existing setup is POP but they are downloading into Thunderbird, nothing is left on the server.

The issue I have is due to there being no option to export into a format that can be easily imported into outlook.

Exporting to csv isn't an option as it only exports the subject and not the actual message.

Get and install mercury mail (server) from pmail.com on your system.  Configure a single account.  Then use IMAP within thunderbird and copy the existing email into the server via the IMAP protocol, then you can use outlook to access or retrieve the data.

Another option, reconfigure you thunderbird mail settings, to leave mail on server for a few days, then configure outlook to retrieve and do the same.

I've had to install Windows Live and import thunderbird into that.  I then imported from Windows Live to Outlook.

This is not a valid solution--installing Windows Live does NOT provide a option to import from Thunderbird only Outlook Express, Windows Live and Windows Mail--just installed Windows Live 2012 and setup an account and no option to import Thunderbird
