Sharepoint server 2010 Display name issue with Top Visitors Web Analytic Report

I am facing an issue of displaying the report of top visitors users in Domain\Username format instead of showing Display Name Sync from AD. Not happening to all but a few users

The solution:
Hi there,

Going forward everything should display the names correctly in your web analytics report. I was able to set up in my farm environment to test and verify if name does update once you’ve update the user profile / set the preferred name. Unfortunately, through my testing It will not update on the  previous records.

I managed went to "Manage User Profile". I noticed that when i try to search the user who name appeared as Domain\Username at Find Profiles, I can't find his details. Are this a reason why his name appeared as domain\user at web analytic report?

I add his name and refresh the we analytic report but nothing change or shall I wait for web anlytics updated?

Is everything and everyone in the same AD domain?

Everything and everyone in same AD Domain.
Are you using AD accounts for your timer service and app pools?
I not sure, very new to sharepoint but can see is:

-ForeFront Identity Manager Synchronization service set to STOP
-Profile Synchronization is not provisioned.
-Only 612 out of 30,000 users are number of User profiles. In this 612 show normail displayname in Top visitor user. I didn't check all 612 but picked a few users

If everything is set up properly and everything is in a single domain, when a user logs into SharePoint for the first time, a few AD properties are written to the user info list on the site collection.  Full name is one of the properties.  So in theory, there shouldn't be any domain\users floating around out there.

Now, depending on the account used to run the timer and app pools, it could get thrown off.

You shouldn't have to have all users imported into the User Profile Service (which is separate from the site level user info list), to get a proper display name.  But you may in your case.  To be safe.  Since your Profile Sync service is stopped, I'm assuming you didn't deploy it.  Please follow this blog.
