Hi Experts,

I have a current situation that my users can't access the Public Calendars and Public Contacts. I'm using exchange 2010. Users are using outlook 2007.

I'm currently logon to the Exchange server and looking around, but can't seem to find my way.

How do I get this up and running?

How is general security setup for the folders?

Question: I assume they can see the folders just arent allowed to open them?

Security: domains users can see folder.

Yes, the folder is still there in their outlook, they just get the message and that are unavailable.

Ok, Is the public folder database mounted?

Second, what rollup are you running Exchange 2010?

Can you mount the second database? And if not, find out why not.

Rollup is a service pack.

Oops, sounds like log files have been cleared which werent written to the database yet.

Navigate to the folder where your database is and run

eseutil /p "public database.edb"      (replace public database.edb with the name of your db)

Afterwards try to mount again.
Since your database is in a dirty shutdown mode (hence the 550 error) this command will bring it back in clean shutdown mode, you might have to try this up to three times before the database becomes mountable again)
