Hi All

I have a client who is expecting an email from an automated 3rd party system however the 3rd party receives the following bounce back when trying to email my client

"#5.5.0 smtp;550 <noreply@online-training.polypipe.com>: Sender address rejected: Domain not found>"

My client is able to receive email from all other external senders.

Any ideas why they are receiving the bounce back.

My clients sbs server is configured to use the pop3 connector

Thanks

That is not an Exchange error so it is something either with the host that is sending the email or your email provider. There is nothing that we can do to get it corrected - you need to speak to your email service provider.

The use of the POP3 connector pretty much rules out Exchange as being the source.

Most likely reasons? A misconfiguration on one of the hosts involved. I have also seen it where the sender and recipient are on the same provider and they provider hasn't configured things correctly.

Simon.
