Having problems with folder redirection.  Server 2012 Foundation, Win 7 pro clients.  AFter disabling the GPO for folder redirection clients didn't copy contents "my documents" back to the local drive as expected.  Also, my documents library still points to network share instead of users' local folder.   Is folder redirection flaky or is it the network admin?

Disabling folder redirection group policies does not change existing users that have already had their folders redirected. It only prevents the policy from being applied to new users.

If you want to have the target be the local machine, you have to *enable* folder redirection and choose that option in the group policy. It will then apply to any user that logs on and, if their target isn't already the local machine, it will "redirect" from the network share to the new target. So in a sense, it *is* redirecting. I know it sounds odd, but that is how it works.
