Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 - Hangs on Running 0%

Hi Guys,

I am running Acronis Backup and Recovery 10. We have 2 different backup tasks.
One runs Monday - Thursday and the second runs on a Friday.

The Friday one is where we have the issue. It hangs on "Running 0%" only way to stop it is to restart the Acronis Managed Machine Service (which won't restart and end up having to use cmd taskkil and then restart) but even after this the next days backups wont run until server is restarted.

The Logs from the Friday backup show nothing...

Each Friday there are 3 entries into the "Log".

First at 7:00:02 pm "Task 'Full backup' was started."
Next at 7:00:02 pm "Task 'Full backup' changed its state from 'idle' to 'running'"
Next at 7:00:04 pm "Priority changed to Low."

The only error ever to show in logs for Friday was a few weeks ago when first set up.

I am not sure what "User name or bad password" it could be talking about.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Cheers

See if it can help http://kb.acronis.com/content/1803

1.Uninstall Acronis True Image and all its components through Add or Remove Programs (Start -> Control Panel);
2.Remove the /Program Files/Common Files/Acronis folder;
3.Open Windows Registry Editor (Start -> Run -> regedit) and remove the following subkey:
1.Windows 32 bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Acronis
2.Windows 64 bit: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Acronis

(!) The subkey is Acronis. Do not attempt to remove the whole registry key.

4.Reboot the machine;
5.Reinstall Acronis True Image.

Hi Santosh,

Thanks for your reply.

I am not to sure if that artical can help as its for:

Acronis True Image Home 2009
Acronis True Image Echo Server for Windows
Acronis True Image Echo Workstation
Acronis True Image Echo Enterprise Server
Acronis True Image for Microsoft Windows Small Business Server

But we have Acronis Backup and Recovery 10.

Also the software is on our domain controller so don't want to be bring the server down unless I really have to.
