Power supply unit

Hi all

I have a corsair psu cx 430 it does not have a p2 connector it has a pci-e connector and a
8 pin cpu connector that can break down to two 4 pin connectors which ones do i use?

Try to power up the computer with only the psu and mobo conected (i.e. remove power from hdds, optical units, video cards etc). If it starts, one of the disconnected stuff is the culprit.

If it does not, then the problem is either the psu or the mobo.

You split the 8 pin CPU connector and insert the part that fits.

Be careful to not force it! Only one of the parts should fit.

Just done that the psu starts up then shuts down
