Word Pad printing second blank page

I have a really annoying problem. When ever I try to print a document from word pad the document will print but shoot out a blank page after its finished. When I click file, print and get the print dialog box down at the bottom where it says page range there is a number in the box 1-65535. If I delete that number and replace it with a 1 then the document prints the one page. So every single thing I go to print has a range of 1-65535.

Does any one have any idea why this is or how to fix this problem?
