Can I uninstall my IIS updates and go back to IIS 8.0

Recently my IIS server was upgraded to 8.5 as my windows updates are setup to install automatically. Can I uninstall my IIS updates and go back to IIS 8.0

Yes, you should be able to. I would first backup all IIS settings, then remove the IIS role and components. Restart the machine, and re-install IIS 8.0 component/role, then restore the IIS settings.

Is there a specific reason you are trying to revert back to 8.0?

I installed one of the application and it worked on IIS 8.0 without any issues. But I forgot to disable windows automatic updates and it updated IIS to 8.5. And now the application is not working and it works only on IIS 8.0.

So, If I downgrade my IIS, before that what settings I have to keep and how.

Also, How I can backup and restore my application IIS settings.
