Hi,

So basically we managed to order Windows 2012 RDS Cal's not 2012 R2 Cal's which is what we actually need.

I  am new to RDS but its a simple setup and basically ready to go, I can get the licenses changed around.

Apparently there iks a 120 day grace period in 2012 R2 but I can't find out how to actikvate ikt and when I connect the server tell me there are no licenses available?

500pnts point me in the right directions

Have you enabled Terminal server licensing role and that server is reachable ?

Because you don't have to do any thing explicitly other than activating terminal server licensing role and then grace period will start immediately
