these files can't be opened - pop up error in windows 7.

hi experts,

i turned on my laptop today and all of a sudden I'm missing some programs and when I click on them I get a Windows Security Pop up with the following message:

These files can't be opened.
Your internet security setting sprevented one or more files from being opened.


what's going on ?

What anti-virus are you using?

It could be a number of things but to me, it sounds like your profile is corrupt.  You may try re-creating your profile.

It seems like IE causes some issues with your .exe files so reset all your IE settings or completely remove it.
