undeliverable mail

Please can anyone help and let me know why this email and others similar are being rejected by the Exchange Server, why are they not just passed through and marked as spam?  What is the cause of the rejection and how can I get them passed through?

this is the reason for the rejection

#550 5.2.1 Content Filter agent quarantined this message ##

to configure the settings have a look through this

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123737(v=exchg.80).aspx

for example if you want to turn it off completely

Set-ContentFilterConfig -Enabled $false

or you can adjust the SCL ratings

you can start by checking

get-filterconfig

then you can edit even down to specific mailboxes

Get-Mailbox -OrganizationalUnit "Staff" | Set-
Mailbox -SCLQuarantineThreshold 6

what is the consiquence of
Set-ContentFilterConfig -Enabled $false
Will I be more vunerable to attacks/virus or just recieve more rubbish?

You said start with
Get-filterconfig
Where do I type this?

You need to type those on Exchange Management Shell which is Powershell for Exchange.

If you type "Set-ContentFilterConfig -Enabled $false" then the Content Filtering would be disabled.
Yes you would be, it might be blocking attacks/viruses too along with the genuine emails.
