When I open the window to list files or folder, I get white background.

I wish to modify the color of the background of that window coming from explorer (I do not refer to background window or startup window).

Can anyone suggest?

Thank.

R.

I think I understand what you're looking for.

Hit the Window Key and search for "Control Panel".  After that, go to "Appearance and Personalization". Under there you can change the theme and tweak things as you see fit.

There some third party softwares available to change the file explorer background.

I personally recommend you to not to use these softwares, These application will malfunction and corrupt the registry hives.
